Tian Tian Wang is a paintress. Her paintings deal with seemingly everyday motives. Mystified and alienated they occur on white backgrounds like presented on a stage. While having a pictorial emphasis on the aesthetic statement, these objects might seem contradictory to their ordinary appearance and cause some challenges to our common thought patterns.Born in Qingdao, V.R. China, 1980, she lives and works in Berlin since 2007.She studied at Städelschule Frankfurt am Main from 2001-2006, She has exhibited at 53rd Venice Biennale 2009 “Making Worlds”(Arsenale), she had several exhibitions in Berlin, and took part in several Art fairs .
